Cedrus Deodar by its Latin name, is from the Pinnaceae family and also known as East Indian Cedar, Deodar, Himalayan Cedar, The Himalayan Tree of God and Hindi.

Characteristics

Durable, rot-resistant character and fine, close grain. Heartwood is a cream to light reddish brown color. Narrow sapwood is a pale yellowish white.
